Why is the shop all in german?

Due to legal requirements we had to choose a german webshop-plattform, since the place of jurisdiction for this website is Germany. Unfortunately this plattform can’t be translated without extensive costs and effort.

Since most of you should have at least a high school degree, i suppose it won’t be difficult for you to figure out how to order.

Nonetheless, here some translations and explanations that you might find usefull:

I’m confident that you will manage to gain access to the shop, there you can take a look at our unique apparel (Kleidung) and accessories.

For apparel choose your size (Größe: Wähle eine Ausführung) in the detail view, then add your choice to your shopping cart (in den Warenkorb).

All desired items will be shown in your „Warenkorb“ in the right most column. Here you can review your order (Warenkorb ansehen) and then proceed to checkout (Weiter zur Kasse) when reviewing your order.

Reviewing your order itself should be self explanatory; delete, change number of desired items etc. If you make any changes here, don’t forget to update your cart (Warenkorb aktualisieren).

once you are at checkout, you will be asked for invoice details (Rechnungsdetails) like:

Anrede Herr/Frau Title, Mr./Mrs.
Vorname, Nachnamefirst name, surname
Firmennamecompany
E-Mail-Adressee-mail
Telefontelefone
Landcountry
Adresseaddress
Postleitzahlzip-code
Ortcity

use the form field „Firmenname(company) to specify your institute, devision, room-number or what ever is needed to make packages arrive at office.

You can also apply further notes to your order eg. additional information for delivery, using the field „Zusätzliche Informationen – Anmerkungen zur Bestellung“ .

You can also chose an alternative address for delivery ( Lieferung an eine andere Adresse senden?)

before you can buy, you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions and cancellation provisions. (checkbox above the summery of your order).

since these texts are rarely read, we have saved us the hassle of translating them.

in short it’s something like:

You have to give us money before we can deliver your products. If you decide, that you don’t like what we have sent you, you may return the products within two weeks after receipt at your own expense without stating reasons. You will be refunded the product price within two weeks after we received the returned package with intact goods. The loss of goods during transport is at expense of sender.

Why is there no value-added tax:

The last time we naively included VAT on our invoices, this nearly made Jan go to jail a year later; luckily he managed to avert this threat. Since we would like to avoid trouble in the future we are liable to explicitly emphasize that we are:

exempt from VAT pursuant to sec. 19 subs. 1 UStG (German VAT Act) – since small business.
